I think we are far behind must have followed it long ago. IPC was formed well beofre independence but our progress is slower & slower. As I have worked in pharmacy abroad I understand that we are lagging behind
The basic of protecting the pharmacy & the Pharmacist –
1 Pharmacies shall be run only when a registered Pharmacist to a particular pharmacy is available.
2 Pharmacy space & Temperature control
3 Temperature control & maintenace for the medicines storage
4 We are not having / able to follow control of prescription & medicines (Schedules).
5. Patient advice / counseling during dispensing
6. New arrangements for education and training can support the modernization process
7. Advice from across a range of health care professions can improve patient care.
